Process

Entry
All new and innovative products in Food & Beverage, Health & Personal Care, Beauty, Household, Pet, Kid and Home Goods categories launched between July 1st of the previous calendar year and October 15th of the current calendar year are eligible to participate. Once a brand enters, they are provided the New Launch logo to use until we announce winners in January 2026.

Nominee Package
We are the only award that supports ALL entries (not just winners!). All entries gain immediate use of our New Launch Nominee Logo and are supported via our Newsweek New & Noteworthy editorial feature! All entries are highlighted across our social media channels, including Instagram and LinkedIn, and supported by a PR campaign.

Consumers Vote
Once entries are closed, all Best New Product Awards Nominees compete in categories which include other new innovative products that fulfill the same consumer need. Each category must contain products from at least 2 manufacturers ensuring that no manufacturer can influence their win. Each product receives a research score based on repurchase intent, concept appeal, and superiority. This is conducted through the Best New Product Awards online survey of thousands of American shoppers – in 2025 program, we had over 10,000 consumers participate in rating products across 86 categories!

Winners PR & Media Campaign
Products that score the highest within their categories are given the highly-coveted ‘Best New Product’ title. There is only one winning product per category.
Winners are announced and promoted through our unmatched PR & Media campaign, across digital, print, TV, & more with over 85 million impressions.
Licensed winners are also entitled to use the Best New Product Award logo on any and all marketing vehicles indefinitely (no logo license expiry).
